We are seeking a driven, self-reliant, adventurous licensed veterinarian technician who is willing to travel outside the US to manage a clinic for Explosive Device Canines (EDCs) in overseas locations with 24/7 emergency availability as the sole provider for these EDCs.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Capable of giving medical advice telephonically to a staff or Vet Tech at remote locations
Assist DVMs with patient histories with electronic health record
Place IV catheters and blood draws
Assist with blood culture machines
Patient care client education/communication
Maintain inventory management with equipment, supplies and medications
Monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative medicine
Conduct EDC weights, teeth and ear assessments
Knowledge of or prior experience with Working Dogs
Active license or certification in one state within the United States
Proper documentation and reporting skills
Strong customer service
Knowledge of current medical technologies and performing diagnostic procedures
Arabic or French language speaking skills (not required)
Previous military experience (not required)
