Job Description
As a ServiceNow Sr. Platform Architect at SASSI, who will join our team and support our United States Government client remotely. The ServiceNow Sr. Platform Architect works closely with stakeholders and other members of the technical team to gather technical requirements and execute on deliverables. The ServiceNow Sr. Platform Architect works with an integrated project team comprised of multiple technical disciplines.
Primary Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Act as a technical expert for ServiceNow.
Assist in shaping strategy through the design and evolution of solutions and building trust through successful recommendations.
Leverages their extensive platform experience to assist the CIO Platform Owner in developing the platform, minimizing technical debt.
The ServiceNow Sr. Platform Architect shall serve as a subject matter expert to support emerging business need requirement analysis and shall have the ability to cross-train Government Customer staff.
Platform Architect will support all modules procured by the Government Customer.
Implement, guide, and manage the ServiceNow platform.
Assess architecture to ensure adherence to Government Customer objectives.
Platform architect will support all modules procured by the Government Customer.
Ensure that ServiceNow standard practices are utilized for all configuration and customization.
Guides HRSD implementation and manage the platform.
Configure the ServiceNow HRSD solution to meet identified business requirements, process guides and functional requirements.
Support the design of integrations to-and-from the ServiceNow solution to other systems.
Able to do Unit testing/Regression testing and collaboration with UAT.
Represents infrastructure security support in significant projects and performs the most complex operations and administration tasks.
Leads and participates in activities that provide policy and governance for the Cybersecurity Program.
Provide insight into ServiceNow solutions.
Responsible for establishing and supporting best practices around platform strategy, technical governance, core data, integrations, and the overall technical health of the platform.
Ensure technology decisions relative to specific projects are in line with the long-term solution architecture roadmap.
Basic Qualifications
US Citizen
Must be eligible for Secret Security Clearance
A minimum of 8 years overall Platform Architecture experience.
Knowledge of integrations and automation tools
Hands-on experience working on Service platform (implementing new functionalities, upgrade testing, modifying/creating Portal pages, and widgets)
Proven experience as the lead technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring, perform peer code reviews, and ensure the ServiceNow team follows software development best practices.
Experience with implementation of Service Now core platform functions, ITSM processes, custom or scoped app development, and at least one of the following: Discovery/Service Mapping, Project & Portfolio Suite, ITBM, ITOM, or Performance Analytics.
Experience building scoped applications in ServiceNow that leverage the power of the platform while providing unique functionality to the Client.
Create and maintain API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services.
Experience leveraging MID Servers for integration and automation.
Prepare and present client-facing and internal deliverables that are technology related.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks.
Maintain production instance reliability through utilization of Change and Configuration Management processes.
Serve as the Release Manager with final technical authority to approve releases into Production
Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance with the application.
Collaborate with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades.
Oversee major version upgrades and install patches.
Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflow, policies, actions, access control, interfaces, and any other configurations required to support client processes.
Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis.

1 year of Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD)
3+ years of ServiceNow Implementation, administration, and technical experience

ServiceNow Certified Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
